When an athlete is a senior in high school, he normally wants to go out on a high note, whether by winning a championship, setting a school record or hitting a personal best. It’s an athlete’s last chance to leave a legacy and have people appreciate the kind of athlete and person he has become.
Well, Devin Schuko from Norton (Massachusetts) High School definitely left his mark.

The senior wrestler chalked up 100 career wins and was 27-0 in his final season. Impressive! But what he did against Andy Howland from Dighton-Rehoboth High School was even better.
Howland is a special needs athlete who has Down Syndrome, but that doesn’t stop him from competing in the sport he loves.
Instead of continuing his undefeated streak, Schuko made Howland’s night by letting him get the win.

This kind of selfless act is always nice to see in high school sports. Although his undefeated season came to an end, Schuko gave everyone an excellent example of great sportsmanship. What the inspirational video below.
