Elite 11 is coming back to Orlando!
That’s right, the premier quarterback (QB) event that compiles the best of the nation’s top-tier high school talent into a competition of QB skills and development is making its way back to Orlando for another round.
Elite 11 has become renowned for its QB competition with the likes of 26 of the current 32 NFL rosters having Elite 11 alumni as their starting QB. Starting NFL star QB’s such as Trevor Lawrence, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, Mac Jones, and so many more have competed in the Elite 11 Regional events. Jalen Hurts and Mac Jones were some of the astounding individuals to have earned a slot in the Elite 11 Finals. The 2022 Elite 11 Finals are set to take place later this year.
The Orlando Regional is already shaping up to have some exciting talent in attendance. The likes of such high school QBs as Marcus Stokes (Nease High), Tyler Jefferson (Hawthorne High), and Dylan Wittke (Buford High), who collectively have been extended no less than 30 offers from top-tier, Division I universities, are rearing to show their skills and continue to develop under the Elite 11 tutelage.
A quick fact about Wittke is that he has been extended 13 offers from schools even though he played backup… to the Stanford signee last year… as a Junior… on the State title team. One can feel the determination in this young man’s mind ready to explode to show what he can do at the helm of another potential State title run.
Amping up the elite factor in the Elite 11 Orlando Regional, one Division I FBS commit is expected to be in attendance at the event of Robert “Champ” Long out of St. Peter’s Prep. Champ has already committed to the University of Maryland of the Big 10 Conference and stands as a testament to the Elite 11 program.
Some underclassmen that have already shown great promise and skills to be on the lookout for at the Orlando Regional are Adrian Posse (Columbus High) and CJ Bailey (Chaminada-Madonna High). These two athletes are in the Class of 2024 but with the collective 12 offers already extended to them from the SEC, ACC, AAC, and other Division I FBS Conferences, expect to see their names in highlight clips in the coming years.
With all the talent ready to step up and show what they can do, the Orlando Regional Elite 11 event will be one of the most exciting yet!
